Utkal Hospital marked another milestone in its journey of medical excellence by successfully performing a complex liver transplant surgery. The surgery was performed by a team of highly skilled surgeons led by our renowned transplant specialists.
The patient, a 45-year-old from Cuttack, had been suffering from end-stage liver disease. After extensive evaluation and preparation, the transplant team performed the life-saving surgery that lasted over 12 hours.
"We are proud to announce that the patient is recovering well and is expected to resume normal activities within a few months," said the lead surgeon.
