Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Exercise helps control weight, reduces risk of chronic diseases, strengthens bones and muscles, and improves mental health. The key to successful fitness is finding activities you enjoy and can sustain long-term. You don't need expensive gym memberships or equipment – walking, cycling, swimming, yoga, and bodyweight exercises are all excellent options. The goal is to make physical activity a regular part of your lifestyle.

Start slowly if you're new to exercise, and gradually increase intensity and duration. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity per week, along with muscle-strengthening activities twice a week. Always consult with healthcare professionals before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have existing health conditions.
